Cabinets for drying flexible endoscopes Bandeq ENDOCAB-8A, etc.
The cabinet is designed primarily for long-term storage of sterile, that is, treated, disinfected (TLD) endoscopes between operations and examinations (both for non-sterile and sterile /intraoperative interventions), mainly flexible endoscopes (gastroscopes, colonoscopes, etc.). In containers and compartments of some models can also be conveniently stored and rigid endoscopes, and some other medical instruments and equipment, including, for example, endoscopic instruments.
The main purpose of the cabinet for storing flexible endoscopes:
- Increase the shelf life of a sterile endoscope.
- Eliminate the need to re-process the endoscope before surgery / examination (if more than 3 hours have passed since the completion of the TLD process).
- Increase the service life of the endoscope and reduce its wear by reducing the number of mechanical and chemical treatments.
